Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia was born and raised in Canada. She is best known to Canadians due to her work as an Canadian actress on the Freeform fantasy television show Shadowhunters. In addition, she was a part of in Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea to whom you are is enthralled. Her other talents include being a model who is successful and also a dancer. Montreal-born, she has lived in Texas from the time she was a child and has always enjoyed performing. Since her early years she's been trained in a variety of dance styles. As a 15-year-old was when she began competing in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia achieved fame after she won a spot on Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2008. Toubia began her acting career in 2010 in the role of an office receptionist on the Telemundo episode. In 2015, she appeared in the action-drama Tattooed Love, her debut film. Toubia's performance as Shadowhunter earned her recognition at The Teen Choice Awards in both the years 2017 and 2018, for her performance as Best TV Actress Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
